Discover Rowing and Paddlesports with BCBH
Brentford Community Boat House (BCBH) offers a range of exciting and accessible watersports opportunities for young people.
Our Rowing and Paddlesports Holiday Camps run during school holidays and half terms, giving children the chance to get active, learn new skills, and enjoy the river in a safe, fun environment.
During the school term, we also run our FREE Row-Fit course – a 10-week fitness programme inspired by rowing, designed to build strength, stamina, and confidence. Participants in Row-Fit are also eligible for subsidised places on our holiday camps, creating a great pathway into the world of rowing and paddlesports.
These activities open the door to further development through ongoing programmes offered by our trusted club partners if you want to continue your journey on the river!
What We Offer…
Holiday & 1/2 Term Camps
Rowing Camps (Ages 11+)
Our week-long progressive rowing camps are designed to build confidence and skills at every level – from beginners taking their first strokes to experienced young rowers striving for speed and aiming toward regional and national competition goals.
- Ideal for first-time rowers, with structured progression to build skills and water confidence by the end of the week
- Tailored coaching for developing rowers, focused on refining technique and improving performance in any boat type
- A pathway into Brentford Boat Club, providing an entry point for both Performance Racing and Recreational squads
Led by qualified and experienced coaches, each camp runs over 4 or 5 days of structured, progressive sessions tailored to your child’s experience and ability.
Each day builds on the last, helping participants develop their confidence, skills, and enjoyment on the water throughout the week.
